Description: | Abstract: An appproach on how to spatially estimate soil hydraulic properties, e.g. the Mualem-van Genuchten (MvG) parameters, is presented. MvG parameters were derived by applying an inversion algorithm (i.e., SCE-UA) on the ecosystem model AgroC. Soil water content measured by SoilNet was used as calibration data. Subsequently, the inverted parameters were estimated for 4 m² grid cells by performing multiple linear regressions. The appraoch uses soil sampling data (i.e., texture, Corg, soil depth, and stone content) and electromagnetic induction data as independent variables. |
